Location

Chalet Les Pavots is located in the resort village of Les Diablerets well known for a wide range of adventure sports such as skiing, snowboarding, paragliding, mountain biking or simply hiking. It is situated in the French-speaking part of Switzerland, in the eastern most area of Canton of Vaud. Chalet Les Pavots is just about 1.5 hours from Geneva and 15 minutes from Gstaad.

Facilities

Built in 1852, Chalet Les Pavots was fully renovated in 2001 with modern amenities while its exterior character and style were maintained. Interior panels and flooring use local pine wood reflecting the chalet’s old Swiss ambiance in about 200 square meters of floor area. With five bedrooms and two toilets and bath, the chalet can easily accommodate 8 persons. The bedrooms are complete with beds, clean linens and Swiss mattresses. The bathrooms have heaters, bathtubs and showers.

The living room makes guests feel at home while sitting by the fire place or playing games or simply gathering with family and friends. The dining room is adjacent to the living room and the kitchen which has all the conveniences offered by modern amenities such as refrigerator and cooking stove including a functional antique cooking oven, thus, adding to the chalet’s character. With complete ustensils, you may opt to cook your meals or walk to the village center which has simple to gourmet coffee shops and restaurants.

Inside the chalet is a laundry area that is equipped with washer making it convenient for you to do your laundry while having fun indoors. Outside the bedrooms and living area are balconies that allow you to enjoy the scenic view of Les Diablerets. In addition to all these amenities is a full supply of fire wood to ensure that you do not run out of firewood to keep you warm.
